Our favourite italian food

We think that italian food is a good type of gastronomy because they use a lot of flavours and smells. They also have lots of recipes l. Here we explain which are our favourite recipes:
Brian:
My favourite italian food is spaghetti but I think that icicles are very good too.












Adrián:
My favourite italian food is lasagna













We think that your dessets, the italian desserts are very good too, tiramissù is the best for us.










We think that you should taste our favourite spanish food. They are simple -and easy to cook- food but we think that they are good.

Carnival

We never go to carnival because we don't like it, it is too loud and we don't like to disguise ourselves.
The tradition comes from the ancient greeks who disguised themselves to perform their theatrical works. Later, carnival and masks were prohibited from 1523 by the king Charles I to the king Felipe IV, who restored using masks. Today, all people can disguise themselves when it is carvival.
Today the best carnival in the world is the carnival in Rio de Janeiro and in Spain the most important carnival may be the Cádiz carnival or the Canarias carnival.

Grease the musical

Last thursday 22 we went to Barcelona to watch Grease the musical.
Barcelona is a big city, the city mots important in Catalonia and the second most important in Spain, with lots of buses and taxis. Here we can watch the Sagrada Familia, it is a very big church and it was built to Antoni Gaudí. Here you can visit too the lots of museus that are in Barcelona or the other buildings built by Gaudí. When we arrived we went to see the pottery's museum. It was a little boring but we learnt a lot of things.
After that we went to the Visctoria's theatre to watch Grease the musical.
Grease is a good work of art, and is about a boy and a girl that fell in love last summer.
In the secundary school he ignored her but then she's ever beenl in love with him and at the end they become a couple. It is a good work and a good musical too. (everything is a musical).
At first we thought that the musicals were very bad but when we watched Grease we have changed our opinion.

Figueres

Figueres is situaded in Catalonia, in Spain in the north of the country in a zone that is called Atl Empordà.
Here you can visit some interesting things like the Dali's museum, the Ferran Castle or some churches.
Figueres has 3 museums but the Dali's museum is the most interesting building and a lot of tourists visit it every year.
Figueres has a good gastronomy too (like that , and you have lots of restaurants to eat, and there are some of them next to the Dali's museum too, to eat and after that visit it.
Here there are some hotels from 2 to 3 stars but if you want a good hotel you can go to Hotel Pirineos , it is next to the police department, because their prices are interesting and the building is very good. Figueres has a good and big shopping zone, it is next to the hall, there are the most interesting shops of clothes, and a lot of pubs.
Figueres is a good place to stay, in my opnion, but if you want to watch it, come and visit it!

Our name is Brian and Adrián, we are students on IES Olivar Gran and we have 15 years old.
Brian:
My hobbies are watch The Simpsons, play computer games, go to cinema, go with the bike and go walking. I hate skiing or arrive late always.
Adrián:
My hobbies are swim, walking, wtching TV, playing computer games, go to my friend's house and look the sky on the night. I hate study but logical I do it.
